The Healing Ministry of Spirit and that of our Earth plane , is one great body of souls dedicated to easing pain, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual and encompasses all whose hearts and minds are open and sensitive to others’  needs  here on Earth or in the  spirit realms.  Each of us, knowingly or otherwise, is part of that great healing force daily, which operates naturally through the outward flowing of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and is restricted by no barriers or divisions between our two worlds.  As we express compassion, caring or concern for a fellow traveller on life’s pathway, the Divinity within us allows God’s healing balm to flow and we become an instrument of the Healing Ministry. The greatest service we can render to mankind and to all other forms of life - both physical and spiritual - is to be able to extend an open hand of healing towards those in need, whatever that need might be.  However great or small.

How many times has our heart been touched as we have witnessed the loving, caring, gentle caress of a mother soothing away the distress and pain of her little child’s wound, after hurting itself, as she holds it closely to her.  Many of us, when young, remember such times ourselves and the feeling of warmth, protection and well-being.  The pain gently easing as those healing hands reached out to us.   And, of course, as we came to be parents ourselves, we became the natural source of healing for our children, or for others around us, from day to day, who we were able to help in that most natural way.

As we progress through life, we encounter many other forms of healing apart from those experienced in the home environment.  Our first visit to the local general practitioner, dentist, chiropodist, or, if our medical needs are more serious, the hospital where we are introduced to nurses and possibly surgeons and experts in the many areas of medicine.  All these wonderful souls along with many, many more throughout the caring sector in our world -  are part of the great Healing Ministry.  And, of course, as those who have been part of that Ministry whilst here on the Earth plane return to the world of Spirit, they are able, if they so wish, to continue their work from that higher dimension, by drawing close to those still upon the Earth plane, to impress and inspire.

We are able to read the wonderful stories of Jesus’ demonstrations of healing, both contact and absent.  Of those who made very long and perilous journeys, believing totally, that if they are only able to touch His raiment, all will be well.  They will be cured.  And of course, many were.  Through those stories, we witness God’s Healing Power flowing from that Divine source through an instrument to the one in need.  The same wonderful, yet so natural, phenomena occurring around the physical world today, some 2000 years on.  The Divine Healing Rays, light, energy, balm, whatever we name it , originates from the one source - God -  and is the same energy that was used by Jesus during His Ministry. 

 Throughout  the world , churches, groups and individuals , regularly demonstrate spiritual healing, bringing relief of pain and illness and replacing those conditions with a vibration of well-being and peace as those from the world of spirit link with their instruments here on the Earth plane who in turn gently place their hands upon the patient, whether of the human family or animal kingdom,  allowing the Divine Healing Energy to flow from the Divine Spirit, through spirit, to spirit. The instrument seeking no reward, save the knowledge that he/she has been an intermediary in service to God.

In addition to  Spiritual Healing by the laying on of hands, each day many souls set aside time devoted to Absent Healing Prayer for all those in need, who are entered in Absent Healing Books, within churches, groups and individuals’ homes around the world.  The discipline of asking the Healing Ministry of Spirit for help in this way, brings the Divine Healing Energy direct to the one in need.   Absent Healing is one of the most natural expressions of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE we are able to show and is used in order to reach those we are unable to physically lay hands on.

Through our acknowledgment each of us is an individual member of God's family - here upon the Earth Plane or in the Spirit World - we are able to make contact with other members of that great family through the Divinity within us. Therefore, whether someone we desire to help in this way is close to us or far away across the world, the common link we all have, allows the Divine Healing Energy to be received by the one in need. Our individual healing prayers, meditation and requests to our friends in the Healing Ministry of Spirit are received and acted upon accordingly.

We invite you, therefore, dear friend, to take the first step forward in being an instrument of the Healing Ministry of Spirit, here upon the Earth Plane. All you require is a heart that is sensitive to your fellow travellers' needs on life's pathway and a mind that is open to the guidance and prompting of those around you from the Spirit World....... and a small notebook into which you will be able to enter the names of those whose plight, pain and need come to your notice from day to day.  As you daily send out your thoughts of loving, caring support to the souls of your little book - human or animal - and mentally see your LOVE as LIGHT flowing from the heart centre to them - so you create your own little ministry of healing. And, in so doing, you and your healing helpers from Spirit, will together be instrumental in easing pain in all it's multitudinous forms, in a very special way.  May we wish you well in your endeavour to serve.
